The Journey Begins

I am a tomboy at heart. I love all things sports and outdoors (unless it is absolutely freezing out). I am a tad sarcastic and laugh at my own jokes. I am a: wife to probably the most patient and loving man ever, mom to 2 rough and tumble, full of laughter, energetic little boys with one more on the way, daughter to the greatest single mom there ever was, sister to wonderful younger sister that I was raised with along with many half-siblings that haven't always been a part of my life, friend with an awesome tribe of people, among many other roles in my daily life. I am a stay at home mama and fill my cup through spending time with my tribe, attending MOPS, being involved at the boys' school and leading our church small group. I am getting my feet wet trying to write a book and what better way to start then through blogging! I find the greatest happiness living in the moment, being with family and loved ones or dancing and singing to my favorite playlist. I am perfectly imperfect and find peace knowing God's love is perfect and unconditional. Life has taught me many lessons. Some more painful then others and some that have brought laughter and I mean the deep belly laughter that brings tears to your eyes. One important thing I have learned is there is a plan and it's not yours to make and don't be surprised when the plan takes you down a path you never expected. So sit down, hang out tight and enjoy this crazy ride. My hope is that through my story you will find ways to relate and understand that no one is alone in life and no matter how bad it may seem at the time, there is always hope and the sun will rise tomorrow. Life is what you make it and I am here to help you find joy in the journey. The hard work has truly been done for us... I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me.
